Griffins @ Black Knights

positiv utveckling under dom senaste två matcherna.

Headcoach Greg Gibsons comment on the game against Örebro and hope for a beter next weekend
against Carlstad.

After a solig 1st quarter start, 7 turnovers, and a void of depth, doomed the Griffins against Sweden’s
best teams. The final score of 61-0 was not the outcome the team anticipated after growth in the last
two games, and the team may have taken a small step back in progress from weeks 2 and 4.
The offence had trouble sustaining any momentum in the game and ultimately turned over the ball
7  times which resulted in 42 Örebro points. The second quarter spelled major doom with the unit only
gaining 17 yards of offence while committing 4 turnovers.

On defence Edvin Henriksson, David Hedelin, and Jalani Philips continued to be solid in spite
of bad field position and extended time on the field. The trio contributed for four tackles for
a loss and three sacks, including a strip sack by Phillips. The Griffins look to rebound when
they face Karlstad next Sunday in Karlstad.
